Post 8: English Lenguage Challenges

I read UZUMAKI in english because I don't found it in spanish.

A comment that I did not make but that I found made a lot of sense was the following "English classes that should be focused on the vocabulary of each career". I remember that a friend who studies archeology told me that them English classes were focused on it, at first I did not find it necessary but, now, that I am finishing these classes, I realize that perhaps it's important. Although I can understand the basics and talk (not well but I try), but I'm not able to read texts that use technical language from my area. I think that the use of blogs helped me in certain cases for that, since I had to use words from my area...but is not enough.

I need improve my speaking. The insecurity makes me feel like, my mind, was a blank paper and takes me a long time to construct sentences. It's very frustating cause I understand the generality of things when someone speaks or when I read. I just can't apply it. I think I need to be able to speak more in my daily life, even if is just me talking to myself and using English phrases in random moments.

Currently I am trying to watch videos in English without subtitles, I use them more than anything to entertain myself and learn more words, also to learn what the pronunciation of native people is like. I was also reading manga in english and I found that it was much easier than reading a book, I hardly resorted to the translator because I could understand what was being said for the context.
